Rising Storm First-person-shooter free for 48 hours

Looks like a WW2 wultiplayer FPS. I think it has a single-player campaign too. You can redeem it on Steam. I'm getting it now.

Apparently Rising Storm does not have single player.

If you already have Red Orchestra 2, then the DLC for that game is installed with this. Red Orchestra 2 has single player, but only in the form of offline multi-player with bots. Personally I do enjoy shooting up bots when the mood strikes me. So you may have to purchase RO2 to get single player - RO2 seems to be about $20 in Steam.

I've been told by clanmates that Red Orchestra is pretty neat, but much less arcadish than games like Battlefield. For example it takes multiple players to operate a tank like it would in real life.

Of course if you get RS for free it's not like you're risking anything other than a little free time trying it out. Thanks for posting this!

I was able to JUST get this. 2 hours remaining..

I know I don't play a lot of games but I LOVE getting free ones and adding to my library. You never know when I may want to try something.

Thanks for the info. I'd heard references to bots, so I wasn't sure about the single player. I had secret hopes of a co-op mode when I heard, "bots", but I didn't want to mention that until I heard more.

I got it with 1 hour remaining. Didn't install, but it's in the library.
