You spend $12/month for a VPN? (or is that per year?)

Year. Per year. Ouch, I'd never get it for $12/month, certainly not in my current situation.

May the 4th be with you day is coming so here is a sale! i :) i

Lots of Star Wars games on sale.
STAR WARS up to -65%

I am not that familiar with Gog but here is a description someone posted.

GOG.com sells games that are completely DRM-free. This means that there is nothing preventing or limiting you from installing and playing the game.
As such, games from GOG never come with Steam keys.

Edit:
Okay just discovered that a lot are on sale on Steam as well.
[Steam] Weekend Deal: STAR WARS day sale: STAR WARS™ COMPLETE COLLECTION (71% off), STAR WARS™ Episode I Racer $5.99 (40% off), Star Wars: Battlefront 2 (Classic, 2005) $3.49 (65% off) and more

I don't think I ever played a SW game. I don't know anything about them so would not even know what to look for or buy. i :) I

Borderlands DLC, free for a limited time, act now!

I'm quoting Larva from his Borderlands thread, so that folks subscribed here will see it.
It's available for download now:
Borderlands 2: Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary

It's only free for a month. After that you'll need to spend $12 to acquire it if you haven't already. Best to acquire it now, in case you want to play it later.

I have $1 in my pocket and $3 in the bank. Even with insurance medical bills are eating us alive. We're going to have to start selling stuff to stay alive...problem being, all our stuff is crap and won't sell for shit.

I post to simply give out information. I wasn't TELLING you to buy anything. No explanation needed man.

Lurch, if you ever feel up for it, we've got the old insurgency running as well. I'm always up for some Left 4 Dead 2, and the new (free) Borderlands 2 expansion isn't gonna play itself. If you haven't Dl'ed it, you need to DL it now. It's only free for a week or two more, then you have to pay for it. DL it once on Steam, then delete it if you have to, then it's yours forever.

May be useful, I added that to the Quick links section on the front page.

In case you guys don't know I have one for this thread already. It is called FAST DEALS

If you have any other links that may be useful to have a fast shortcut to on the frot page, let me know.

Re: The time sensative great deals thread!

I am not familiar with this site, but I saw this posted on Reddit and thought it had value, if legit.

https://www.massgenie.com/steam-gift-ca ... _card_bfsr

$43 for a $50 Steam gift card equals a 14% discount on whatever you buy with it. Wanna buy stuff on sale during the Summer Sale? Well, have another 14% discount on top of it. I should get it. I probably won't, because that's a big chunk of change to drop on a future game, but this is exactly the sort of thing you should do to save money. I'll eventually spend $50 on Steam. It's silly to balk at buying it to save 14%, when I definitely WILL spend it eventually.

Don't have to buy anything right away. There's a new Doom game coming out. That Cyberpunk 2077 game is out in April of next year.

Thanks for posting. $7 off is not THAT much a great deal though. I would like to have seen at least a solid $10 to $15 off to really make it a deal.
Still money is money. i :) i

It's a sale ENHANCER. 14% by itself isn't that great, but you add it to other savings during the Steam sales, the sales are that much better. You're not buying a game for 14% off, you're buying a game for 40%, 50%, 75% etc, PLUS the money you saved here.

Work the angles. . .it's literally free money. You KNOW you're gonna buy something on Steam. It will happen. If you have the cash to buy it, it's a no brainer. This is one reason why ppl with money are in a position to save more money, and broke people aren't. They can drop $43 and not worry they'll need it in a couple weeks.

Doc, you have a sexy brain. You are absolutely correct. It's a numbers game & anything you can do to tip the numbers in your favor adds up over time, makes quite a difference.
