It uses Ubisoft's version of Steam. You buy it on steam, but when you run it, it will run Uplay. Not a big deal, just a little annoying that you have to use a launcher to launch another launcher to launch a game.

These type of coupons are GREAT if you have things you are thinking about buying. Go there and poke around and see if you can find a decent/good price on the item, and boom, extra 15%. Just finished the tutorials, it's a bit involved. Also, the game itself wouldn't run for me, I had to have Guns of Icarus: Alliance and run it first instead. It SAID I could join a co-op game after I finished the training, but I didn't try, I have no interest in playing unless it's with you guys. There might be some difficulty in managing to get together on the same ship though, we'll have to see. I saw where you can have clan chat, so I guess we could make a clan, and MAYBE that will let you join together, but I don't know.

In the FAQ I read on their website it said the PVE content was a DLC you had to buy, don't know if it's free this weekend too or not.

EDIT: Yep, Alliance is where the co-op is, so if you want co-op, get Alliance too. And it was a free download, I didn't pay for it.
