Amnesia: The Dark Descent is free on STEAMthis weekend. DL it and it's free forever for you. Said to be a pretty good game, very atmospheric.

Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 is supposed to be free on Origin, but I can't find it. If you find out how to get it, please post back here for the rest of us.

Sorry but it was apparently only free until 1PM today. It is now $4.

Searching Origin and sorting by price it is not listed.

The first one that comes up is Red Alert 3 and it is listed for $20.
Searching directly for it only says:

Sorry, we didn't find anything for

“red alert 2”

Please try another search

Looks like the Command & Conquer 2 game might still be free, if we keep checking in.

It's a classic game, hugely popular when it came out, but it's from the ~1999 era, so whether you get it or not isn't a big deal IMHO. The other game thru Steam was much newer and more interesting. Too bad that it's not available now.
