Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is $30 on Steam. It's the same price on Amazon as well for the Steam download code. This is the cheapest I've seen it so far.

I sure hope at least one of you guys picks this up! I've been having a blast playing it, but the more the merrier!

Probably won't be cheaper for 2 or more months. A good friend bought it for me, so when I'm feeling better I'll be in ts.

Hmmm, and how long before your all on DLC's, hehe. I could never catch up with you on BL1 or 2.

Also how would this be to a noobie considering I never even installed BL2?

Borderlands is just plain old fun Lexx. The 2nd is the best of the 3. The Pre-Sequel is awesome too - it's more like a huge expansion pack for Borderlands 2. There is a lot of gamer-geek oriented humor inserted into the dialog. These are the same programmers who made Duke Nukem 3D, if you remember how funny that was back in the day.

Don't be afraid of the game. It's not linear. So if enemies get too tough for you because you're advancing through main story line missions too quickly, you can just take on side missions to beat up lower level gets and build up your XP, gear, and skill points. They also give out codes you can punch in to get new gear if you're having trouble facing enemies with gear that is too low level - it's really convenient for re-equipping your character after leveling up a bunch so you don't have to spend days grinding for gear.

There are a gazillion you-tube videos you can watch while eating lunch to brush up on the game basics, so you have a little knowledge before going into battle. It's good to know which enemies are vulnerable to which kind of weapon damage (explosive, flame, corrosive etc.,). I'm not the only Borderlands fanboy out there. ;)
