This game had gone under my RADAR, but someone on another message board brought it up and schooled me on it. Released in 2009, it contains script elements from a possible sequel, script-doctoring from Ackroyd and Ramis, and voice acting from all principal characters. With the passing of Harold "Egon" Ramis and the rumored reboot with an all-woman cast, if you want any more old-style Ghostbusters, this is your last chance.

Ghostbusters creator Dan Aykroyd has said, "This is essentially the third movie."[14]

As broke as I am, I'm buying this. A last chance to wander and experience the Ghostbusters universe, written by and starring the original cast. At $2.99, how can I pass that up? It's less than the cost of a pinball table in Pinball Arcade, and it's a beloved story from my teen years!

I played it for awhile. It's not the GREATEST game (it's far from bad though), and it's not the GREATEST movie, but it oozes (see what I did there) the atmosphere of the movies, and there's a ton of dialog from everyone - all 4 Ghostbusters, Jeanine, Mr (Dickless) Peck, etc etc. REALLY fuckin' worth it.

I was gonna gift it to you, but I know you'll NEVER play it. You buy single-player games just to collect them.
