NZBgeek indexer - a decent one I use for Sonarr. I have a lifetime sub for this.

We will be offering our Black Friday Deals from 12:00am on the 29th November GMT for a 48 hour period.

1 year $8.00
2 years $14.00
Lifetime $30

Please visit our subscription page here https://nzbgeek.info/vigsubscription.php during this period.

=========================================================================================

DrunkenSlug Indexer - I use the free version for almost all of my manual searches, but I'm limited to 5 DL's/day.

Normally, these prices apply for one year, but they're offering a bonus six months, and if you buy more, the time stacks, so you can buy 1.5 years. 3 years, etc.

€10 = 18 months - 1000 API hits and 100 Downloads
€20 = 18 months - 4000 API hits and 2000 Downloads

https://drunkenslug.com/register

It's more than I like to spend, but I get a LOT of use out of the free version. I wish they offered a lifetime sub like NZBgeek.

DrunkenSlug gives a message saying "The bar is closed. Do not contact us about an invite."

Yeah, you have to be a member to take advantage of it. If you're actually interested, I'll keep an eye out for when registration is open. Some sites have invites for their members to hand out, but I don't have any here, maybe because I'm just a free member. Paladin and Lexx should already have a free membership - we've been doing this for years, and I tell them every time registration is open and I see it, because this is my fav indexer, and it's a good idea to have you foot in the door, as you're seeing here.

Someone said they expect another membership drive before Black Friday, but you have to be quick, it's usually open for 8-16 hours. Let me know if you have a real interest and I'll contact you when I see registration is open.

Drunkenslug has 18 months right now for $11.xx . I'll look around my acct and see if there is any kind of invite. The simplyNZB one doc posted was incredibley slow. I wasn't impressed with it and it was unclear if you had to buy a basic membership THEN upgrade to VIP after that spending more. The lifetime was cheap, like 12gpd whatever that is in dollars.

edit: nevermind you click on your acct and there is an upgrade to vip lifetime for $12 euros (11ish bucks) So for lifetime its a no brainer.

NZB geek not working as well for you for manual searches?
Is it worth it to grab 18 months of drunkenslug to add to Sonarr and Radarr do you think?

I am ONLY using nzbgeek and get the vast majority of things but there is the occasional time where i can't get a file, like The Mule recently, so was thinking of adding another search to my setup.

So simplynzb is NOT worth getting the lifetime then? As I mentioned in my previous post, i was thinking of adding some new indexers for Sonarr and Radarr.

NZBgeek is what my SONARR uses, and I don't have problems. I use Drunkenslug for my manual searches, seems to find more things I'm looking for, older stuff, obfuscated stuff. I think Drunkenslug is the best of all the ones I've tried, but NZBgeek hasn't let me down for my automated searches, I find all my shows automatically. Drunkenslug is pricier though - this sale, 18 months for the price of 12, is the best I've ever seen from them.

I don't really have an opinion on simplynzb, but I'm not buying it. If NZBgeek has a sale, though, I'd recommend it. It's one of the best-regarded indexers, it's my 2nd -favorite one personally, after Drunkeslug, and like I said, it works well for me for my automated DL's.

I'm a little tempted to get Drunkeslug's lower-tier premium search service, as there are times when I want to DL more than 5 movies/shows a day manually, and like I said, it's my favorite for manual searches. I think if I hadn't had to buy the monitor and other things recently, I'd have bought it.

Hmm just seen this going back over the posts.
Another good price. I can't remember althub much though, I think it was always failing so i disabled it. of course that was the free, limited, one.

Edit: Nope I do have it enabled and I assume S/R were using it to search as well.

I think I am going to go for that drunkinslug deal for $12. I also only use NZBGeek, got the lifetime, and it works 95% for everything I need. It may be nice to have another service to search though.
---never mind i did it. Not a bad deal for $11.52.

Edit: I noticed that DS says it is powered by newsgroup ninja. Weird, wonder if they are related or they just use them. I ask because I wonder if Doc could just search Ninja directly since it would give them the same results and he already has Ninja.

Ninja has a search/indexer? I just plug in the server data for newgroup access, there's more I could be using?

I don't know. I just know that drunkenslug says it is powered by Ninja so they must be using that for something. i :) i

Man my results seem to really have grown using DS. Will need to do some testing.

Tell me how it goes, maybe I'll splurge.

My guess is the "powered by Newsgroup Ninja" is just a cross-promotional thing.
