Yeah, that's a good price for a run-of-the-mill 3tb, these are enterprise.

Thank you, yes. Sorry I was unclear. Also, aren't you in Chicago now? Go do shit, ain't nothin' interesting happening here. You wander into any blues bars by mistake, be sure to tell me about it.

I'm REALLY tempted to get one of these drives, but my mouse is kinda beat, and I REALLY want a 1070 or 1070TI. Not sure if I should give up on the idea of getting a gfx card and just buy the drive and new mouse, instead of sitting here with none of the above.

I'm emailing Lexx with this link as well. The drives are a little small by our current standards, but the price per GB is good, and they are offering an enterprise-quality drive for normal, consumer-drive prices.

EDIT: Lexx bought two of them.

Hover hound didn't work on this. I bought two then copied and pasted into amazon an hour later, 53$ Prime 2day delivery ;p Plus I get prime points for spending there, so would of been $50 anyways and would of had prime protection. Oh well, everything from newegg takes a week to get to me and if its doa its on your dime to return.
Figured these would be good in my NAS can.
Thanks for the heads up thread.

They are suppose to be new old stock drives. I think the Amazon ones are "referbished" drives. I could be wrong.

Heh, leave it to Lexx to take a new-in-box deal and find a way to buy it used. Only thing missing from this deal is Tiger Direct. :P

Dangit, I think they're NIB. How can I bust Lexx's balls now?

Also, according to my price-trackign plugin, HONEY, the drive's been 41.99-$45 for the past few months on Amazon. Still a great price if it's a high-quality drive. Can't overestimate the value of being able to rely on your data.

Amazon reviews say they got used drives. Swapped labels even. I would check them as soon as you get them. Use CrystalDiskInfo to pull up the detailed smart info and see hours of use. I will be doing this with the Newegg ones as well.

Yes I now that means New In Box but that was an obscure reference so I had to make fun.
