I'm going to pick up the following:
Tank Universal 2
Zombies Chronicles (DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops III)

RowdyRot and I are going to start playing the COD zombie maps again. This DLC takes the best of all of the old ones and remasters them for Black Ops 3. It might not even go on sale because it only came out for PC a few weeks ago and Activision is stingy as hell with COD prices, but I'm waiting just in case it does get reduced by a buck or two.

Is Tank Universal 2 co-op or multiplayer? Doesn't look like it to me. I liked the first one, but would like to have co-op and/or multiplayer in any sequel.

I'm not buying COD 3 just to then buy zombie maps. $60 + $30, even if it goes on sale, will be too much. I've tried to get ANYBODY interested in No More Room in Hell. It's free, but no one will try it.

Lurch has me looking at Space Engineers and Medieval Engineers. I'm also looking at Empyrion - Galactic Survival. Might get some more Pinball Arcade table-packs, and a couple new Rocksmith songs.

Nope. Single player.

Honestly I didn't expect anyone to shell out that much $$ just for zombie map DLC, outside of DevilDog. I only do it because my nephew loves playing it - it gives us a chance to shoot stuff while we BS. I'm getting him the DLC for his graduation present. I know DevilDog likes to play COD with his kids because they love it. I might try meeting up with him to play it.

Some good news on the COD front: in order to get Modern Warfare remastered you used to have to spend $80 on the legacy edition of Infinite Warfare. Infinite Warfare flopped - even fanboys fucking hated it. So try try and salvage their investment, Activision is going to release the remastered version of Modern Warfare separately, starting at $40. $40 is still a lot, but it's a LOT better than $80 and hopefully the price starts trickling down from there to something more reasonable over time. [CgC] really took off playing Modern Warfare - it'd be fun to revisit it sometime. I doubt it'll be available in time for the Steam Summer Sale, but hopefully in time for the next couple Steam sales.

EDIT: Just checked - Modern Warfare Remastered still can't be purchased by itself yet. I'll split this info off into it's own thread and add details as they become available.

I had Prophet look into adding Empyrion to his server, and he said it looked fairly straightforward, so that MIGHT be another plus towards getting it if he manages it once he's back home and has relaxed a bit.

Great. I came back to tell everyone that there's a shit-ton of stuff on sale now. It took them several hours roll it out.

Lurch, of Medieval Engineer, Space Engineer, and Empyrion, which do you like and think you'll play most in the future?

Anyone have any other games they like that might be on sale now?

Currently, Empyrion, especially if Prophet gets it running on the server. ME and SE are a bit laggy for me, the way you have a player host a game and you play off of their machine, and with Sabnac being the only one I play with, and him having a crappy connection, it gets painful. Plus, I haven't seen him playing much lately. The shiny hasn't worn off of Empyrion yet, and those I play with seem to be addicted, so I should be playing it for awhile longer.

OK then, I'll buy Empyrion.

Only if you think it's something you'd like.

Well the bad news is the 2 things I'd planned on buying never went on sale. Guess I waited for nothing. :( Oh well.

If any of you guys is interested in taking a 99 cent gamble on a Tron-ish Battlezone-ish retro game, you can try this. The system requirements are extremely humble by today's standards, although it doesn't support on-board Intel video cards.
Tank Universal

I'm about a quarter of the way through the game, but forget why I got side-tracked from it. I intend on resuming my single player campaign soon. The game has been great fun so far and given me plenty of nostalgia for my little kid gaming days.

This game is only $10 right now. It's got multi-player, single-player, and co-op. It's also got some extra zombie maps as a distraction from your normal WWII game-play, something different. It's pretty good.
Call of Duty: World at War

I like this game. I'm not playing a campaign, but every couple months I'll jump in for a few hours of great Battlezone-ish action. If you liked Battlezone at the arcade or on the PC, then this is 99 cents well spent. Fer cryin' out loud, that's like 2 plays on a pinball machine or arcade game these days, if you can find one. You get 10 minutes of fun out of it, you've broke even.

I already own Tank Universal.

I am pretty sure I own Call of Duty: World at War but not on steam. Maybe I can activate it??

I will buy Empyrion - Galactic Survival if you guys will be playing it. I know NOTHING about it so...
LET ME KNOW!

Doc looks like tons of Pinball Arcade stuff on sale, I need some guidance on what to get on those, you are more familiar with the packs an what tables come in them etc...

Empyrion is a sandbox game Paladin. You crash on a planet in an escape pod, then have to build up to spaceships from there.

Same here: I've got it on disc. I tried to activate the key on Steam but that didn't work. I'm not optimistic that I'd be able to call Activision have get them to migrate it to Steam for me - they are the greediest SOBs on the planet. So if we want to go disc-free we'd probably need to drop the $10 for the extra convenience. Installing off disc and all the follow up patches isn't my favorite way to spend my free time anymore. I'm going to search online and see what other people in the same boat have done.
