Problem is, it is such a broken ass platform. Plus the whole exclusive buying thing rubs me the wrong way. Especially the indie/crowd funded stuff. I have not and do not plan to ever put the Epic store on my machines.

That's why I'm getting the games, but not installing it. The way things are now might not be the way things are in the future. If things change in the future, I'll have the free games. If I don't do it now, it will be too late to do it in the future.

Fuck exclusives.

Okay, I have Dead Island, the regular game, no DLC, and I've never played it. Check to see if you have it. The version I have isn't even available anymore on Steam.

I loaded the version of Dead Island I have, and I'll play it some tonight. If I don't hate it, I'll buy the $5 Definitive edition and post back here, but you have to play it if I buy it, at least one night. I'm not buying stuff right now, trying to save. Gotta save for my surgery and future move to a gov't -subsidized housing project. I'm hoping if things go well with the surgery and other things, I'll build up some cash for emergencies and be able to upgrade my old 960 card, which is pathetic in my cool 1700x machine. I have a kickass machine but can't even play fallout4 in all it's high-God-Ray glory.

Ok, it has some kinda ingame purchasing bs, I bought hte deluxe version for $2 more. If its out of bounds too much I'll just single player it and fuck the gold bars. I can't properly research it on a damned 10yr old netbook ;p

Oh well. Prophet and I played some a couple weeks ago. I've been playing a ton of Destiny 2, which I wouldn't recommend for anyone else here.

I am making an effort to play this tonight. I know I played 14 hours of this game so there should be more of the regular game left. And we now have DLC as well.

I can't stay up late as I a need to get up early. I will have to stop around 12 my time.

I've had a oneplus 1 since 2014, still perfect, and a oneplus 5 for 4 months, still perfect. I just couldn't resist this price for a flagship killer. Man I just went into my NAS over the internet and clicked on a movie and it just started playing like it was Plex or netflix. Very impressive.
