Only 1. There was no benefit beyond that. Perhaps if I bought more under another email & credit card?

I'm going to buy Borderlands 3 for myself, probably my nephews too. So these won't go to waste.

Docjon wrote:It's a sale ENHANCER. 14% by itself isn't that great, but you add it to other savings during the Steam sales, the sales are that much better. You're not buying a game for 14% off, you're buying a game for 40%, 50%, 75% etc, PLUS the money you saved here.

Work the angles. . .it's literally free money. You KNOW you're gonna buy something on Steam. It will happen. If you have the cash to buy it, it's a no brainer. This is one reason why ppl with money are in a position to save more money, and broke people aren't. They can drop $43 and not worry they'll need it in a couple weeks.

You just made my point. People like YOU that don't have a lot to spend have to spend that $43 NOW just to save $7 in the future. That is my point, they get you to spend a lot up front to save very little. If you only intended to spend say $15 to $20 on games now that extra money could be used for other things, like food.

I just said $10 would have been better is all but somehow I don't get it. Hell ANY extra money is always good man, money is money, saving is saving, fuck me, I get that damn.

I just wanted better for people who had to come up with that much right away just to have some credit in the future.

So, this is on sale for $3 on steam. I grabbed it. Not a bad game. I suck at it, but it plays reasonably well.

Supports four player patches.

I replied to this in the time-sensitive deals thread, Prophet, because the sale is over at Noon Eastern.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/5545 ... lf_Club_2/

Prophet posted a link to his cart, which won't work for us - Above is a working link.

In days gone by, this would be an insta-buy. $3 and a game four of us can play? Great! And I will buy it, but only if someone will play it with me. Money is very tight. I don't intend to buy much of anything at all for a few months to build up my account some. Recent expenses, including the unexpected need to buy a new router, has put a bit of a hurting on me. But if we'll give it a try, I'll buy it. Certainly a good price, but the way we (haven't) been playing, I have to check to see if this is a waste of time.

Read the reviews there. Some angry ppl have spent $3 on this.

I have a doctors appointment in the morning. If I get back in time I will buy this when I get back to work. Too hard to buy it from my phone.

No idea if it is any good or when we will play it. But $3 is now much.

Great deal on mobile cell service:
https://www.mintmobile.com/product/03-m ... card-plan/
6 months 8gb data cell service $60. Afterward you just prepay 3-12 months at whatever data rate you want. I'm getting this x's 2 and renewal I'll probably get the $15 a month for 12 months cause I hate monthly bills. I also calculated a yearly savings with two phones at 498$! Shit that will pay 5 months of FIOS.

Right now I'm paying $70 for Cricket a month with 5gb data plan. Prepay that just to get a $10 discount a month. Coverage is great, same map as AT&T. Not sure how long this deal lasts but it is time sensitive. Free shipping on the sims for a few days.. Activation and number port on their website or phone app. Oh I'll post a 'refer link' if anyone is interested when I get my account. I would get $30 credit and you would get $15 off next renewal. Damn sweet deal if it works well.

If that works for you Lexx, that is great!
Too hard to switch for me. I have been with Sprint forever. I literally JUST got my new Note 10. plus and it is a sprint phone Sim wise.
I could have bought unlocked but was unsure how that would work. I get a 18% discount from work so pay $74 total for unlimited. Of course now I have to pay for the phone on top of that.

Thanks Lexx.

I've been using Tracfone for years. I'd pay about $25 (tax included) to get 90 days of service and 3 hours of talktime with infinite rollover. I hate cellphones and don't know anyone, so I used about 5 minutes a month, mostly carried it for emergencies, since I was sick, and Mom was sick, etc. I've got a ton of rollover minutes leftover. Last year, in December, I paid about $75 to keep the phone activated for a year, and I've been living off the old rollover minutes ever since. I still have over 4,000 text and 2,300 minutes left.

I've never needed more than 1gb data a month. Doc, why not apply for a free phone from the gov? unlimited txts and 200 minutes I believe. I'm tempted myself. Anyway, maybe this offer will help prophet or larva. I didn't think you'd leave sprint. For me sprint has bad coverage right where my house down there is. I'm hoping Mint doesn't and Cricket was getting annoying on weekends not delivering txts quickly, sometimes hours later.

$15 a month not to worry about minutes is extremely cheap to me. I hope they don't fold.

More free games on Epic game service:
https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/c ... collection

I haven't installed it. I just made an acct and "buy" the free games. That way, if they do something to make me change my mind about installing it, I'll have the free games. Keeps my options open for the future.

No. Every so often they'll offer other free games. They're trying to coax ppl into using them as much or more than Steam. I'll post when I see more.

Problem is, it is such a broken ass platform. Plus the whole exclusive buying thing rubs me the wrong way. Especially the indie/crowd funded stuff. I have not and do not plan to ever put the Epic store on my machines.
