I had Prophet look into adding Empyrion to his server, and he said it looked fairly straightforward, so that MIGHT be another plus towards getting it if he manages it once he's back home and has relaxed a bit.

Lurchmonster wrote:Currently, Empyrion, especially if Prophet gets it running on the server. ME and SE are a bit laggy for me, the way you have a player host a game and you play off of their machine, and with Sabnac being the only one I play with, and him having a crappy connection, it gets painful. Plus, I haven't seen him playing much lately. The shiny hasn't worn off of Empyrion yet, and those I play with seem to be addicted, so I should be playing it for awhile longer.

If any of you guys is interested in taking a 99 cent gamble on a Tron-ish Battlezone-ish retro game, you can try this. The system requirements are extremely humble by today's standards, although it doesn't support on-board Intel video cards.
