Amazon raising Prime rates!

Amazon Prime membership will go up $20 May 11th.

If you don't yet have Prime you may want to get it before then to save for this year!

That equates to only $10/month, which is still a good deal if you buy a lot and/or stream a lot of content.

With that said I know business is business but I am personally a little disappointed. They are a huge company and not hurting for profits.
Then again even Netflix recently raised rates. If it gives us new cool original content shows it is worth it I suppose.

Amazon announced on its earnings call Thursday that the price of its Prime membership will rise for US customers. Starting May 11, 2018, new Prime customers in the US will pay $119 annually for their memberships, and Prime Student customers will pay $59 annually. Existing Prime and Prime Student members will see their annual payments increase starting June 16, 2018.
